The CvSU seal is composed of four important interactive elements that represent the vision, thrusts, and programs of the university.

1. BOOK WITH TORCH -located at the center of the seal. Symbolizes knowledge and wisdom and represents education, the humanities, and other social science programs of the university.

2. COFFEE TWIG WITH RIPE BERRIES -at the right-hand side of the book with a torch. Symbolizes the major agricultural thrusts of the province of Cavite. It also represents the agricultural and related programs of the university.

3. GEAR -at the bottom of the book with a torch. symbolizes the engineering and technology programs of the university.

4. ATOMIC STRUCTURE -at the left-hand side of the book. It represents the science programs and scientific research undertakings of the university.

5. FLAME OF THE TORCH -designed as "CvSU,” which is the adopted acronym of Cavite State University. The flame symbolizes the enduring and everlasting flame that will guide the university in its search for truth.

6. FIGURE 1906 -written in gold against a dark green background. Placed below, that’s the year that CvSU had its humble beginnings as an intermediate school established in Indang, Cavite.

7. LIGHT GREEN -background for all elements.

8. INSTRUCTION, RESEARCH, AND EXTENSION -The trilogy of functions of the university also symbolizes the overall triangular shape of the seal.
